Bolt regains 100m world title in Moscow

IT WAS raining in Moscow, but it was six-time Olympic champion Usain Bolt who reigned supreme.

Bolt, who says he is keen to make a first Commonwealth Games appearance in Glasgow next year, regained his 100m world title, and won a fourth individual world championship gold with a season's best time of 9.77 secs.

American Justin Gatlin (9.85) finished second behind the Jamaican, while Bolt's compatriot Nesta Carter (9.95) claimed bronze.

Sydney's former world discus champion Dani Samuels finished 10th behind Croatia's London Olympics champion Sandra Perkovic.
