1. October 5 and 6: Lights on the Hill Memorial Convoy

WHERE: Gatton, QLD

The Lights on the Hill convoys leave the industrial park at Roches Rd, Withcott, as well as VCV, Bivouac Place, Wacol, bound for Gatton Showgrounds at 9am on October 5. Showground gates open 9am.

Truck/vehicle convoy entry $50.

Memorial service at nearby Lake Apex Park on October 6 at 10am.

2. October 6: Edinburgh Truck Show

WHERE: National Military Vehicle Museum, Edinburgh Parks, SA

The Edinburgh Truck Show will showcase military and civilian trucks of the past and present.

3. October 5 and 6: Back to the Bri Truck Show

WHERE: Collins Park, Narrabri

The Narrabri Truck Show will headline the many family activities already planned for the Back to the Bri Festival on the October long weekend.

Trophies and prizes will be awarded to Best Truck 2013 onwards, Best Truck Pre 2013, Best Vintage Truck 1988 or older and People's Choice.

4. October 12: Wickham Freightlines Open Day

WHERE: Wickham Freightlines office, Warwick

The open day is on at the depot in East St, Warwick.

It's on from 10am-2pm and there will be giveaways, face painting, live music and much more.

5. October 12: Matty Hillcoat's Truckies' Day Out

WHERE: Gympie Showgrounds

Matty Hillcoat's Truckie's Day Out is a fun day out for truckies and their families to raise money for River's Gift and SIDS research.

This year's event, which will run from 9am-11pm, will include tractor pulling, a vintage machinery display, chainsaw racing, kid's amusements, live music and more.

6. October 26: Deniliquin Truck Show and Industry Expo

WHERE: Memorial Park, Deniliquin, NSW

The expo includes truck and motorbike show 'n' shines, a monster auction and more.

Hay transport company owner Phyl Jones will attend the event as a guest speaker.

The memorial service at the north Deniliquin truck stop will be on October 27. To organise a memorial wall plaque, email denitruck show@gmail.com.au.

7. October 27: Sydney Convoy for Kids

WHERE: Huntingwood to Hawkesbury Showgrounds

The convoy kicks off around 7am with Aussie Skips as the lead trucks.

The event aims to raise funds to purchase an entire ambulance for Newborn Emergency Transport Service (NETS).

Everyone is welcome and it gives a great opportunity also for the community to see what truckies are really like - a great bunch of people doing a great service for children.

8. November 2: White Hill Truck Drivers Memorial Convoy

WHERE: Murray Bridge, South Australia

Twin convoys will leave the BP Wingfield and BP Keith at 8.30am, meeting at the White Hill Memorial Service, via White Hill Parking Bay (6km west of Murray Bridge).

Memorial at 11am, followed by the family fun day and truck show from 1pm.

Includes free children's activities, tiny truckies trail, raffles, charity auction, trade and food stalls.

Bar facilities (strictly no BYO).

9. November 3: Western Star Trucks Show n Shine

WHERE: Museum of Fire, Penrith

The first Penske Commercial Vehicles show n shine to be held in NSW, the event is a chance for Western Star owners to polish and display their much-loved trucks, and for enthusiasts to enjoy the sights.

North Queensland Truck and Machinery Movement's "Phatcat" 4800 take out truck of the show, with KS Easter's 200th truck taking home the title in 2017.

The 2019 event will again feature a host of prizes across several categories.
