TRP opens new store in Warrnambool

TRP Warrnambool - PACCAR Parts

The global TRP Truck and Trailer Parts network has opened its fifth Australian store in Warrnambool, a coastal city at the western end of Victoria’s Great Ocean Road.

The new store, located on the Raglan Parade stretch of the Princes Highway, is owned by the Barry Maney Group (BMG) and allows the group to expand its ability to service its south-west Victorian customers

BMG was purchased by the Commercial Motor Vehicles (CMV) group in 2019. The new Warrnambool store adds to the business’ already successful stores in Pakenham, Victoria and Burton, SA.

Positioned as an all makes supplier of high-quality parts for prime mover and rigid trucks and all types of heavy trailers, TRP now has 140 stores worldwide. The TRP product range is also exclusively sold throughout the Kenworth & DAF Dealer Network.

The store stocks a high proportion of consumables for all major truck brands, ranging from filtration, lube and electrical products, to brakes, suspensions, steering, wheel ends and other parts and accessories.

In addition, trailer parts represent 50 per cent of store turnover, particularly in the areas of brakes, suspensions and lighting.

BMG has been active in the region for over 43 years. This depth of familiarity and knowledge means the business can give its customers the parts they need – when they need them, maximising vehicle uptime and keeping trucks on the road.

All TRP stores have a direct link into the PACCAR Parts Distribution Centres at Bayswater and Brisbane giving quick access to the entire breadth of their 300,000+ product portfolio.

Parts Manager, Matt Neilson and his team are excited about the development of the TRP store.

“We’re proud to be able to extend our customer service to Warrnambool by giving our customers a store with both a powerful street presence as well as an internal layout that is simply something else,” says Neilson.

“The TRP Product is an important part of our DNA and through the TRP brand, we have quality product available at very competitive prices. Extensive testing goes into making sure the product is fit for market and customers are warming to the affordability and back up service we provide – and with a 12 month nationwide warranty, our customers get peace of mind.”
