Doug and Vicki Connolly run Connolly’s State Waste Transport and hold over 60 years of cliental and information on septic systems. From early days no large coastal or city companies wanted to service the inland districts as it was not financially viable. In 1948 Doug’s grandfather was installing septic systems throughout Queensland and when problems arose there was no one available to clean out the systems and hence he started Connolly’s in 1950. The business continues today with a third generation, with Doug Connolly covering the South and North Burnett regions as well as service over 12 regional Councils in Queensland and are vendors to D.E.R.M, Sunwater, Qbuild, Qhealth, Department of Defence, Ergon, Road tec, Main Roads, Qrail to name a few. Connolly’s are primarily a special needs service to State, Councils and primary producers E.g. Stock tanks, Pumpwells, Town water systems, Imoff and humus tanks.
Although there are other operators today , none hold the collective information on town systems, septic systems, as Connolly’s do. Doug’s father Ewen, took over from his father in 1964 and settled in Kumbia, and started to service the Kingaroy districts until retirement in 1994. So if you choose Connolly’s you will be advised on all aspects and Condition of your system. Not all systems need to be pumped and some only require minor corrections and are inexpensive to service.
