Travis Whitehouse

ANOTHER truckie who works for a family company and is happy with life on the road is Travis Whitehouse.

The 39-year-old had also stopped off at the Nine Mile Roadhouse on December 19, 2011 to buy some bananas and a cold drink.

Travis was in a 2010 Isuzu and is an integral part of the Northside Raw Materials family company.

"We cart sand and other raw material all around Cairns and the Atherton Tablelands. We had had the business for 16 years. There are myself, mum and dad and two drivers," he said. His new year's resolution is to continue the success he achieved last year with the company and to lose weight.
