THIS year the Mullumbimby Truck Show turns six.

Held in association with the Mullumbimby Agricultural Show, the truck show has proven an outstanding success.

Organisers say well over $20,000 has been raised for charity in the past five years of the truck show.

"We look forward to adding to that total again this year," a committee spokesperson said.

The show will be held on November 8 at the Mullumbimby Showgrounds again this year, in Main Arm Rd, Mullumbimby.

A convoy of trucks will proceed down the main street to the showgrounds. Registrations for the convoy will be taken from 9am for an 11am start at Towers Industrial Estate.

Entry is $30 a truck (no trailers).

This includes the drivers' entry to the show. Show entry is $10 a person. Kids are free.

A barbecue breakfast at the registration area is available for a gold coin donation.

Judging will commence when the trucks are parked at the showground, with presentations from 1pm.

There are up to 20 categories for judging.

There will be plenty of entertainment for all the family.

Held as part of the annual show, there will be livestock, trots, horses and all the trimmings of the show.

There will also be food stalls, bar, show pavilions with arts and crafts and local produce on display.

It will be a fantastic afternoon and evening with live music and fireworks. Camping is available on site.

A barbecue breakfast will be available on the Sunday morning.

There is limited accommodation in town, but it is only a short drive to nearby Brunswick Heads or Byron Bay.

The show continues on Sunday with a Show and Shine car show, and various horse events.

Showtime FMX will conduct two freestyle motocross shows throughout the day, with a demolition derby to finish around 2pm.
