RENAULT rolls into 2016 on a high after setting a new record for light commercial van and truck deliveries in 2015 in Australia, and retaining its number one status as Europe's most successful LCV supplier for the 18th consecutive year.
With 3757 vehicles delivered to customers in Australia, comprising the compact Kangoo (3.0-4.0m3), all new mid-size Transit launched last May (5.2-6.0m3), and the ever expanding Master full-size van (8.0-17.0m3) and light truck range, Renault is aiming for another record-setting year in 2016.
To support this sales expansion, all Kangoos ordered before the end of March 2016 come with an extended five-year/200,000km factory warranty and three free scheduled services (a saving of $1047), while both Trafic and Master variants ordered in February qualify for the first three services free of charge as well.
"We are enjoying record demand in Australia for our van range," says Lyndon Healey, Model Line Manager for Renault LCV.
"A key factor has been the impressively low running costs delivered via efficient, frugal, modern engines. All business users understand the benefits of reducing fuel consumption and emissions.
"Our record on total cost of ownership has been sound, thanks to the broad reassurance programs we have put in place over the past three years.
"In addition, our Renault PRO+ concept delivers an expert LCV dealership experience for customers, for whom we can provide a one-stop-shop for vehicle systems such as racking or body-building, speeding the order-to-delivery period.
"This means Renault LCV customers can get their new vehicle on the road earning money faster than ever.
"As we continue to expand the numbers of variants across our three models ranges, we will continue to grow our share of the light commercial market," Lyndon says.
"We have several new variants in the pipeline this year, including the debut of a 12-seater Master Bus. We are confident 2016 will be another landmark year for Renault and our LCV customers," Lyndon says.
