PORT RIVER BRIDGES – REPAIR WORK
MOTORISTS are advised the Port River Bridge (Diver Derrick Bridge) will be closed to all traffic on the following nights to allow for the contractor to undertake repairs.
Restrictions will be in place for the following dates:
- 8.00 pm Tuesday 17 April until 6.00 amWednesday 18 April.
- 8.00 pm Wednesday 18 April until 6.00 amThursday 19 April.
- 8.00 pm Thursday 19 April until 6.00 amFriday 20 April.
The Department of Planning, Transport and Infrastructure (DPTI) has notified emergency services, marine authorities and freight industry representatives.
DPTI will advise of future bridge closures and the restoration to normal speed limits once the works have been carried out.
The contractor has advised that works will be completed by mid May 2012.
