Rick and Vicki Foote
IT WAS great to hear from our old friends Rick and Vicki Foote from South Australia the other day, hoping to pay us a flying visit to Tasmania "soon".
Long-standing and valued friends, Vicki and Rick spend their days driving their always-immaculate T-908, with a 600Hp Cummins up front, for Adelaide Specialist Freight. They tow triple road trains between Adelaide and Darwin with general freight in rail boxes on skels.
They operate as ordinary road trains on the Adelaide/Port Augusta leg, adding the third trailer for the Port Augusta/Darwin leg.
They have now been driving for Dave for two years this June, and are, as usual, loving their life, and the job, and the big Kenworth.
