ONE OF Australia's leading trailing transport equipment brands, Freighter, has announced it is giving customers an extra reason to buy its top-selling product, by giving one lucky customer the chance to win a Victory motorcycle.
In a promotion launched at the 2012 International Truck, Trailer and Equipment Show in Melbourne, Freighter general manager Rod Cunningham said it was the company's way of "giving something back" to its loyal customers.
"We recognise that it's not easy being a transport operator in Australia," Cunningham said at the launch of the promotion.
"Drivers can do up to 80 or 90 hours a week, which means they have very little leisure time when they finally do get a break.
"We hope that this bike will go to a worthy winner who can get out on the open road on their day off and enjoy a bit of freedom.
"We also see a common link between the passion and prestige of owning a Freighter, similar to the same feelings of owning a genuine American-built motorbike."
The winner will receive a Victory Vegas 8-Ball motorcycle.
Featuring a 1731CC v-twin engine, the Vegas 8-Ball is painted black in a style that is certain to appeal to the country's trucking community. Any customer who orders a new Freighter between March 15 and June 30 will be eligible to enter, subject to the terms and conditions of the competition.
