Crash blocks road
POLICE are investigating a traffic crash on the Fitzroy Development Rd, approximately 40km south of Middlemount this morning.
Around 6am, two utilities collided head on causing one male driver to become entrapped within his vehicle.
He was freed from the vehicle and airlifted with the other male driver to Mackay Base Hospital for treatment to non life-threatening injuries.
The road is still blocked in both directions.
Investigations into the cause of the crash are continuing.
