Wendy Priestly

IT WAS a great pleasure to hear that our old friend and truckie mate, Wendy Priestly, from Spalding in Lincolnshire, has recently bought a new truck for her successful truck driving school there.

She is happily known in UK as Mothertrucker, a nickname she has enjoyed for 28 years, and after many years of experience on the road she and her partner, Les, moved from London to Spalding and set up a dedicated truck-driving school, an easy transformation for them as they have now been training truck drivers for 20 years or so.

They bought two old trucks to start out with but as their business has been so successful they decided to upgrade and recently bought this 420Hp Renault Premium with a 16-speed box and a new trailer.

Things continuing as they are they will shortly buy another Renault Premium.

Wendy tells us that they have seen a great increase in ladies training with them since her appearance on TV this year in a one-hour special called Mothertruckers.
